Amaresh Ramlugan
Amaresh is an
entrepreneur,
a trainer
and an executive coach.
He is currently the CEO of The Concreate Agency,
a leading full service marketing communications agency in Mauritius
handling several prominent leading local and multinational brands.
His passion for people and training led him to set up The Corporate Leadership Centre,
a training institution which aspires to play a prominent role in the field of training
in the Indian Ocean region and East Africa.

A Bit About Me
With considerable international exposure during his 20 year career, he has been part of the senior leadership teams of various organisations including as Head of Marketing & Communications, State Bank of Mauritius and as Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, Barclays Bank Mauritius including a secondment to Barclays Dubai HQ.
A Fellow of The Institute of Leadership and Management (UK) and The Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD) and a member of the Coaches and Mentors of South Africa (COMENSA), he has extensive board level experience and has served in various leadership roles including as:

Amaresh Ramlugan grew up in Mauritius and studied at the Royal College Curepipe.

He holds a BSc from Hindu College, Delhi University, a Masters in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, an MSc in Marketing Management and an MBA Financial Management from the University of Mauritius as well as an MPhil in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has successfully completed the Doctoral Research Training Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and also holds an MPhil in Management Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.He is a member of Golden Key International Honour Society whose membership is by invitation only to recognize and reward high achieving students in the top 15% of their fields of study.
Amaresh has always been passionate about helping the needy and the less fortunate and serving the community at large. This led him to join the service organization Rotary International since 2000. He has since, held all offices at Rotary Club level and served twice as President - Rotary Club of Phoenix in the years 2011-12 & 2015-16 respectively. The Club received Gold Presidential Citation in both years. He has also served as Assistant District Governor 9220 in the year 2016-17 and as District Officer Community Service, District 9220, for the year 2018/19.
He is currently Co-Vice President- Rotary Leadership Institute (Francophone Division),
and serving as District Officer Vocational Service, District 9220.
