Amaresh Ramlugan grew up in Mauritius and studied at the Royal College Curepipe.

He holds a BSc from Hindu College, Delhi University, a Masters in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of International Business, an MSc in Marketing Management and an MBA Financial Management from the University of Mauritius as well as an MPhil in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He has successfully completed the Doctoral Research Training Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and also holds an MPhil in Management Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch Business School. He is a member of Golden Key International Honour Society whose membership is by invitation only to recognize and reward high achieving students in the top 15% of their fields of study. Amaresh has always been passionate about helping the needy and the less fortunate and serving the community at large. This led him to join the service organization Rotary International since 2000. He has since held all offices at Rotary Club level and served twice as President – Rotary Club of Phoenix in the years 2011-12 & 2015-16 respectively. The Club received Gold Presidential Citation in both years. He has also served as Assistant District Governor 9220 in the year 2016-17 and as District Officer Community Service, District 9220, for the year 2018/19. He is currently Co-Vice President- Rotary Leadership Institute (Francophone Division), and serving as District Officer Vocational Service, District 9220.

Dianne is passionate about fostering a culture of learning, that is meaningful and directed towards achieving both organisational and individual goals and objectives.

Most of her interactions with business/students has been one on one coaching, facilitation and meetings by way of various online platforms. Dr Anuradha Rao

Dylan Kohlstädt

Dylan is the CEO & Founder of Shift ONE Digital, and the Digital Marketing Academy.

Dylan has over 20 years experience in the Marketing Niche, and can be considered a subject matter expert on all things DIGITAL.

Dylan Kohlstadt is the CEO and Founder of Shift ONE digital, a creative integrated digital marketing agency with 12 full time staff members; and The Digital Marketing Academy.

Shift ONE was incubated by CiTi and Google for Entrepreneurs and she now gives back by offering digital marketing training and workshops and talks to entrepreneurs. She has also facilitated the CiTi Women in Business programme and mentors entrepreneurs, marketing managers and women in business on a regular basis. Dylan believes that digital marketing is one of the most cost effective ways of growing a small business, and willingly shares her knowledge, strategies and ideas with entrepreneurs in an effort to see them grow and succeed.

She has extensive local and international experience (South Africa, UK and Australia), and has managed global and national brands in multiple languages and countries. Dylan has her IMM (3 years) Marketing Diploma as well as an MBA through Unisa. She is also the mother of two young girls and knows the challenges of being a mompreneur. She enjoys surfing and kiteboarding as well as playing guitar and painting in her spare time, of which there is very little these days.

Irma Karsten

Irma is a Digital Strategist & Social Media Trainer . She is a social media marketing specialist and has over 20 years of work experience behind her.

A people’s person by nature, Irma is currently a digital strategist and social media trainer for Digital Marketing Academy and Shift ONE Digital.

In this role, she serves as an avid trainer and facilitator for all things social media marketing related. Irma is passionate about training individuals and facilitating courses – from entry level right through to advanced level – on all platforms and across all industries.

Her courses are informative and with her sense of humour added into the mix while she presents, it is no wonder that entrepreneurs, marketing managers and executives have all attended Irma’s training sessions. Irma believes that “if you are not having fun while you are doing it, then you are doing it wrong,” and this coupled with her years of experience across multiple industries and roles makes her a well-rounded and sought-after trainer and facilitator. Irma started her career as a Branch Manager for a bank in Pretoria. With a keen focus on client satisfaction, project management and client service management, she later went on to hold top positions at various companies including Client Service Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager and Project Coordinator. Harnessing her skills in account leadership, Irma excelled at managing and coordinating client projects in terms of branding, marketing, advertising, design and marketing campaigns among other duties. Her experience over the years has increased her skills in business management operations, team building, creativity, problem solving, change management, labour relations and financial management.
